There is an important vote taking place in the European Parliament tomorrow, Thursday June 23rd on climate change. The vote is to support a stronger 30% target for emissions cuts.
We have heard today that many Conservative MEPs are considering voting against the 30% target, despite the Coalition Government backing it.
You can take action today by
- contacting the Prime Minister urging him to persuade MEPs to back the 30% target or
- by emailing the Welsh Conservative MEP, Kay Swinburne asking her to support the 30% target during the vote tomorrow.
It would be great if you could send a letter in your own words, but if you don’t have time you can tailor templates for the Welsh Conservative MEP, Kay Swinburne and for the Prime Minister David Cameron.
